DR. CHRISTOPHER SPELLER
Senior DoD Consultant, SSB Stellar Solutions

Dr. Speller is a Senior DoD Consultant with SSB Stellar Solutions Inc. with over 20 years of support to the Office of the Assistant Secretary Defense, Homeland Defense and Hemispheric Affairs, Homeland Defense Integration and Defense Support of Civil Authorities, Domestic Preparedness Support Initiative (DPSI) office at the Defense Pentagon, Washington DC. In accordance with Section 1401, Public Law 107-314, DPSI is mandated to identify, evaluate, and transfer dual-use emerging medical and tactical technologies that are being developed by Department of Defense (DoD) and private defense vendors that have application to first responders at federal, state, and local levels.

Based on DPSI’s congressional mandate, Dr. Speller works closely with DoD’s Defense Health Agency, Ft. Detrick’s Medical Technology Transfer office to advance viable medical solutions that support military personnel and the Emergency Medical Services community. Dr. Speller’s background also includes support to the Office for Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance (ORHA) and Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) office during the Iraq war effort. During this time, Dr. Speller provided critical ORHA logistical support, personnel management, and CPA program executive guidance with key leadership personnel. Dr. Speller retired from the United States Air Force, serving 21 years with responsibilities in Personnel Management and Personnel Support for Contingency Operations. Dr. Speller holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with Averett University, Masters in International Relations with the University of Oklahoma, Doctor of Business Administration with California Intercontinental University, and Certificate in Strategic Leadership from Harvard University, Cambridge MA.
